Showroom Cleaning Services in Dublin 1

Every unit on this side of the river runs on volume, and volume shows on a floor faster than anywhere else in the city. We clean shop floors and back of house together, on a fixed weekly schedule, for retail units and showrooms across Dublin 1 and the IFSC. A good chunk of that work sits inside a shopping centre, which comes with its own rules. We know them.

What we cover

How it runs

The cover line is there for a reason. Ask anyone running a unit on Henry Street what actually goes wrong with a cleaning contract and they will not say quality, they will say the week nobody turned up. Cover is arranged before it is needed, not after.

Trading through Christmas? We plan peak cover at the survey, not in December. Our showroom cleaning across Dublin page covers how the same specification runs in other parts of the city.

The Units and Showrooms We Clean Across Dublin 1

Shopping centre units

Inside the Ilac Centre and Jervis Shopping Centre. Mall trading hours, service corridor access on a schedule, centre management rules to work within, and shopfront glass facing the mall rather than the street.

High street retail units

Henry Street and Mary Street. The heaviest footfall in the city walks through these doors, street dirt comes in with every one of them, and the entrance is where the whole clean is won or lost.

Independent shops and value retail

Talbot Street, Parnell Street and Capel Street. Owner-managed, margins tight, and far more interested in reliable and predictable than in premium.

Electronics, phone and pharmacy units

Around O'Connell Street and Abbey Street. Glass display cases, counters handled hundreds of times a day, and real constraints on who gets access and when.

Ground floor corporate retail and concessions

The IFSC, Mayor Street and the CHQ Building. These sit inside a managed building, so building management approval and out-of-hours access are part of the job from day one.

Client-facing display and reception suites

Custom House Quay, George's Dock and Harbourmaster Place. Financial services front of house used as a shop window for the firm, held to a finish standard well above a normal office floor.

Food-to-go with a retail front

Abbey Street and Talbot Street. Early morning windows before opening, and a higher hygiene standard at the counter than anywhere else on this list.

The Retail Cleaning Problems Dublin 1 Businesses Call Us About

Nobody can tell you where the centre's cleaning stops and yours starts

The mall floor is the centre's. Your unit is yours. But the shopfront glass? Your stretch of the service corridor? The bin store? This is the single most common argument in a centre unit, and it goes one of two ways: you pay twice for the same square metre, or something never gets cleaned at all and centre management raises it with you. We map that line at the survey and put it in writing.

Henry Street walks in the door with every customer

Footfall here runs at a level most Dublin units never see, and in wet weather every pair of shoes brings the street in with it. Value retail carries more of it than premium retail, simply because more people come through. The entrance needs its own frequency, not a share of the general floor allowance.

Your cleaner does not turn up during the busiest weeks of the year

Christmas trading in Dublin 1 is enormous, and that is exactly when staff turnover and no-shows peak across this industry. It is a staffing failure dressed up as a cleaning failure. A named team plus a written cover arrangement, planned at the survey, is the only version of this that holds in December.

The stockroom has taken over the back of house

Delivery cages, packaging, flattened boxes that never made it to the bin store. Back of house rarely appears properly in a cleaning specification, so it drifts, and then it is in the staff room and creeping across a fire exit route. We name those areas in the specification instead of leaving them to whoever has ten minutes spare.

Display fixtures and shelving never get touched

Gondola tops, shelf edges, the glass on a display case. A "general dusting" line does not cover any of it, so nobody does it, and it builds up in plain sight of every customer. We specify at fixture level, by name.

You only find out something was missed when someone complains

No supervisor, no report, so the first you hear of it is a customer, a centre inspection or an area manager. Spot checks and photo-backed reports turn that around, and there is one named person to ring rather than a general mailbox.

If something is missed, we are back to redo it, at no cost to you.

How Contract Cleaning Works With Premier

Step 01

Free site survey

We come to your Dublin 1 or IFSC unit, walk the shop floor, the stockroom and the back of house, and note floor types, fixture types and where the centre's responsibility ends. Book your survey

Step 02

Written specification and fixed quote

Area by area, task by task, with frequencies, and with a written boundary line between your clean and the centre's clean.

Step 03

Access and centre approval

Keys, fobs or alarm codes, service corridor access, insurance certificates and method statements to centre or building management, and an agreed pre-opening window.

Step 04

Team assignment and mobilisation

A named team is assigned, with a named cover arrangement behind it so peak weeks do not leave a gap. Both are inducted on your layout and the centre's rules.

Step 05

Delivery and supervision

Scheduled cleans, supervisor spot checks, photo-backed reporting, and one direct contact.

Step 06

Review and adjust

A periodic contract review, plus a peak trading review before the Christmas season rather than during it.

Changing provider mid-contract? We take the overlap on. Your existing cleaner's last day and our first day sit end to end with nothing between them. Where TUPE applies, we work it through with your centre management or landlord.

Peak cover, planned in advance. Trading in Dublin 1 peaks at Christmas, and that is precisely when cleaning contracts fall over, because nobody planned the cover. We set it at the survey: who attends, when, and who steps in if somebody is out. That is not a problem you can solve with a phone call on 20 December.

Retail Store Cleaning in Dublin 1

A unit inside a shopping centre does not run like a standalone shop, and most cleaning quotes are written as though it does. Here is what actually changes.

Where the centre's clean ends and yours begins

The mall floor, the mall glass and the common washrooms belong to the centre. The inside of your unit, your shopfront glass and usually your section of the service area belong to you. We write that line down at the survey, so you are not paying twice and the centre is not chasing you about something you never agreed to cover.

Mall hours are not your hours

A unit in the Ilac or Jervis works to the centre's access schedule: when shutters can go up, when the service corridor is open, when deliveries are allowed. We plan inside that window rather than around a preferred time that was never available.

Getting equipment in through a service corridor

Loading bays and service lifts in a city centre mall are shared and time-slotted. A ride-on machine is not realistic here. We use compact equipment that fits a service lift, and we confirm that at the survey rather than discovering it on day one.

Shopfront glass facing the mall takes a specific beating

Trolleys, shopping bags, pushchairs, hand-prints at child height. It is a different pattern of marking to street-facing glass and it needs a frequency matched to that pattern, not to the street.

Back of house is where inspections actually fail

Stockroom, staff room, fire exit route. Centre management and health and safety inspections find their issues here far more often than on the shop floor, so these are named areas in our specifications.

Packaging and cage waste

Delivery volume in value retail is heavy, and packaging waste has to be segregated the way the centre requires. That belongs in the specification rather than being treated as somebody's afterthought at the end of a shift.

Peak trading is a staffing problem, not a cleaning problem

Footfall multiplies at Christmas and contracts fail then because no cover plan existed. Ours is written into the contract before you sign it.

A centre unit does not run like a standalone shop. We plan for the difference.

What Retail and Showroom Cleaning Costs in Dublin 1

Price is set by unit size, floor type, how much back of house is included, frequency, access window, whether periodic works are inside the contract or outside it, and whether consumables are included.

In a centre unit there is one more variable that most quotes get wrong in both directions. Some suppliers quote the full unit area even though part of that area is already being cleaned by the centre, so you pay twice for the same floor. Others quote the shop floor only and quietly leave out the stockroom, the staff room and your section of the service corridor, which then reappear as extras three months in. Because our survey establishes the boundary in writing first, the quote covers what will actually be cleaned. Nothing more, nothing less.

The second one is peak cover. Cover during Christmas trading is a real cost and an honest quote has it priced in from the start. A quote that ignores it is not cheaper. It just moves the cost to December, where it shows up as a unit that did not get cleaned.

On rates generally: contract cleaning in Ireland is governed by a legally binding Employment Regulation Order under the Workplace Relations Commission. From 1 January 2026 the sector minimum is 14.80 euro per hour for workers aged 20 and over, alongside sick pay provisions, an unsocial hours premium for work between midnight and 6am, and overtime rules.

So a compliant quote carries PRSI, supervision, materials, equipment and margin on top of that hourly cost. If one number comes in far under the rest, ask how the rate meets the ERO. The exposure from a non-compliant supplier ends up in your unit, not in theirs. (Rate correct at August 2026, and the current order is published by the Workplace Relations Commission.)

Free survey, fixed written quote, and every line priced into the specification before anything is signed. There is a loyalty and referral discount once you are on contract.

Why Dublin 1 Retailers Choose Premier Contract Cleaning

If you are comparing showroom cleaners for an IFSC unit or a shop on the northside, this is what sits behind the name.

Attendance, with cover written into the contract

A named team on your unit and a named cover arrangement behind it. In this part of the city that is the block that matters most, because the contract that fails is almost never the one that cleaned badly. It is the one that stopped turning up in week 48.

Cleaning Dublin premises since 2020, on more than a decade in contract cleaning before that

Over 2,000 cleans completed. Long enough to know which parts of a retail specification get skipped when a shift runs short.

Over 100 five-star Google reviews

Consistency and communication are the two words that keep coming back, which is exactly what a unit manager is buying.

If your clean is not perfect, we will do it again, for free

No debate about it, no credit note, no invoice adjustment.

Fully insured, with certificates issued before we start

Insurance certificates and method statements go to you and to your centre or building management ahead of the first shift, which is usually a condition of contractor approval anyway. If your unit or your centre requires specific vetting or screening of contractor staff, flag it at the survey and we will confirm in writing what we can provide.

You get people, not a ticket number

Catalin Fatul runs the company and Monica Fatul manages the contracts, and both take calls. Fernanda Lopes and Igor Ribeiro supervise on the ground, both health and safety certified. For an independent or a franchise owner, being able to ring the person who can actually sort it out on a Saturday is worth more than any portal.

In a centre unit the argument is almost never about quality. It is about who was supposed to clean what. We settle that on day one, in writing.

Our Dublin 1 and IFSC Service Area

Henry Street and the north city retail core. Henry Street, Mary Street, O'Connell Street and Abbey Street, upper and lower. The heaviest retail footfall in the country, very tight pre-opening windows, and nowhere to leave a van, so equipment is carried in by hand. That single constraint shapes how the work gets planned here.

Shopping Centre Cleaning in Dublin 1

The Ilac Centre and Jervis Shopping Centre both sit in this postcode, and between them they hold a large share of the city's centre-based retail units. Mall trading hours, service corridor and service lift access on time slots, contractor approval through centre management, shopfront glass facing the mall, and the boundary question underneath all of it. This is the part of Dublin 1 retail nobody writes about and every unit manager deals with weekly.

Showroom Cleaning Services in the IFSC

North Wall Quay, Mayor Street Lower and Upper, Custom House Quay, George's Dock, Spencer Dock, Harbourmaster Place and the CHQ Building, with the Custom House itself as the anchor at the western end. Ground floor retail and concessions inside managed buildings, plus client-facing display and reception suites for financial services firms. Building management approval, out-of-hours access, and a finish standard set by the people the firm is trying to impress.

Talbot Street, Capel Street and getting in. Talbot Street, Parnell Street and Capel Street: independent and value retail, owner-managed, straight-talking. The Luas Red Line runs through Abbey Street, Jervis, Busaras, George's Dock and Mayor Square, and Connolly Station is a few minutes' walk from most of it. That matters practically. Our teams arrive by Luas or on foot, so attendance does not depend on finding a parking space in a part of the city where there isn't one.

Showroom Cleaning in Dublin 1: Common Questions

It depends on unit size, floor type, how much back of house is included and frequency. In a shopping centre the biggest variable is what the centre already cleans, because that decides how much of your unit is actually yours to pay for. We survey free and give you a fixed written quote priced against the ERO.

Yes. We work within the centre's access schedule, its service corridor time slots and its contractor approval process, and we use compact equipment that fits a shared service lift. Insurance certificates and method statements go to centre management as part of mobilisation, before the first shift rather than after it.

Your unit, your shopfront glass, your stockroom and back of house, and whatever part of the service area is contractually yours. The centre keeps the mall floor, the mall glass and the common washrooms. We walk that boundary with you at the survey and put it in writing, so you never pay twice for the same square metre.

Yes, and pre-opening is the standard arrangement for retail units. Where you are inside a centre, we fit that window around the shutter times and the service corridor schedule rather than around a slot that suits us. It is agreed at the survey and it does not move afterwards.

Yes, and the cover is planned at the survey rather than in December. You get a named team with a written cover arrangement behind it, so the busiest six weeks of your year are not also the weeks your cleaning contract quietly falls apart. This is the single most common complaint we hear from Dublin 1 units.

Yes, if it is in the specification, and we would push for it to be. Centre management and health and safety inspections turn up issues in the back of house far more often than on the shop floor, and a blocked fire exit route is a much bigger problem than a dusty gondola.

Yes, fully insured, with certificates going to you and to your centre or building management before the first shift, which is normally required for contractor approval anyway. If your centre or your own head office asks for specific vetting or screening of contractor staff, raise it at the survey and we will confirm in writing what we can supply.

We line our start date up with your existing provider's notice period, so nothing overlaps and nothing falls through. Where TUPE applies to the outgoing team, that is handled between us and the centre or landlord. Most unit managers expect this to be difficult. It rarely is.

We come back and put it right, free of charge. Behind that sit supervisor spot checks and photo reports, which exist so the problem gets found by us rather than by a customer or a centre inspection on a Saturday morning.
